Resident in the Launceston area are invited to a public meeting to discuss the expansion of the town's medical centre.
The meeting is being held on Thursday, December 18th at 7pm in the Guildhall at Launceston Town Hall.
North Cornwall’s MP Dan Rogerson will be joined by a representative from NHS England, Paula Bland and Jo Beer from the Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group, Peter Harper from Launceston Medical Centre and Cornwall Councillors Jade Farrington (Launceston South) and Adam Paynter (Launceston North and North Petherwin).

Speaking about the meeting, Dan said, “I have been urging NHS England to approve the Medical Centre’s plans to expand the surgery so that they can meet the growing demand from people in and around the town. I hope that bringing everyone together will allow to us agree a way forward so we can see an expanded GP service in the Launceston area, and in other areas across North Cornwall. If you have any comments or concerns about GPs services in our area, please do come along to the meeting on 18th December.”
