MP wants action on speeding in Delabole

Dan was in Delabole this week to speak with residents about the best way to solve the village’s speeding problems.

Mr Rogerson distributed surveys to homes in the area asking for views on the scale of the problems and what action residents would like to be taken to tackle speeding through the village centre.

Dan explained, “During my annual summer and autumn MP's tour earlier this year the most common complaint I heard on the doorsteps in Delabole was about speeding through the village.

"Residents understandably want action to tackle motorists consistently speeding on the 30 mph stretch of Rockhead Street and High Street through the village centre. That's why I have been running a resident's survey to get as many people's opinions as possible and so I can push for any necessary action from the likes of Cornwall Council and the police."

Dan is keen to hear from residents in the area about their experiences of speeding in and around Delabole. He can be contacted on contact@danrogerson.org, 01566 777123, or at 4 Tower Street, Launceston PL15 7DA
