Christmas Card Competition Launched

Despite it being October, Christmas is well and truly creeping up on us. Doubtless Christmas decorations will be in all the shops within a matter of weeks!

So, now is the time for Dan to launch his schools' Christmas card competition for 2014.

As in previous years, Dan will be sending a Christmas card featuring the winning design to each of the many colleagues and organisations he works with all year round.

In the past, the standard of entries has been very high and Dan always finds it difficult to choose the winner. That is why he is sure that again this year, primary schools all across North Cornwall will rise to the challenge.

The deadline for entries is Friday 21st November and the winner and two runners up will all receive book tokens as prizes. In addition the winning school will also receive a cheque for £50.

To enter, all cards need to have a "Cornish Theme" and be as colourful and eye catching as possible. Dan would like for all designs to be completed on A5 paper and the full name and school of the child to be written on the back. Unfortunately printing restrictions mean no glitter or embellishments can be used.

Designs can be entered either by post at 4 Tower Street, Launceston, PL15 8BQ or by scan by emailing it to

Dan wishes you all the best of luck!
