Dan Rogerson welcomes Lib Dem Secretary of State Vince Cable to Bodmin
Dan Rogerson, MP for North Cornwall, today welcomed the Liberal Democrat Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Vince Cable, on his visit to Bodmin.
Dr Cable visited the TNT depot in the town to discuss the company’s apprenticeships programme, meeting apprentices from a range of disciplines and levels within the firm.
Commenting, local MP Dan Rogerson said:
“I am delighted that Vince Cable chose to come to North Cornwall to highlight the government’s determination to give young people the very best in training and employment opportunities.
“TNT’s commitment to North Cornwall and to its workforce is incredibly valuable, and it was very positive to see what is being achieved locally.
“It is great to see the Government recognising the need to value and invest in young people in Cornwall.”
