MP praises emergency services’ quick response after flash flooding
North Cornwall’s MP, Dan Rogerson has praised the emergency services today after Cornwall was battered overnight by heavy rains causing flash floods all over Cornwall. Three inches of rain fell in the early hours of this morning and the Met Office and the Environment Agency issued severe weather warnings as up to 50mm of rain was predicted to cause even further flooding. Cornwall Council must not renege on commitment to Camelford Leisure Centre
North Cornwall’s MP, Dan Rogerson, is calling on Cornwall Council not to backtrack on their commitment to keep Camelford Leisure Centre open for another year, after it emerged that less than half the funding needed has been secured.
