Speaking after his re-election, Dan Rogerson said:
“Firstly and simply, thank you.
“Whether or not you supported me, I will do my best to speak up for you – and for this, my home constituency – in the coming years.
“I’m very grateful for the warm welcome so many people gave me on their doorsteps over the course of a closely contested campaign.
“It was an exhausting time but incredibly rewarding to meet so many people I had been able to help over the past five years.
“It was an honour to succeed Paul Tyler in 2005 and it meant even more to be re-elected in my own right as the local champion for this area.
“There is not just a new government in Westminster but a new politics too, where people from opposing sides have to work together in the national interest.
“I welcome it, and it means a good many Liberal Democrat policies that people voted for here will be implemented.
“But as we set about changing our country, I want to hear from you. My email address is contact@danrogerson.org and you can call my local office on 01566 777123.
“Once again, from the bottom my heart – thank you.”
