Adbuild expansion shows resilience – Rogerson
North Cornwall’s MP, Dan Rogerson, was in Bude this week to celebrate the opening of Adbuild’ second showroom, with owner Brian Rideout and local campaigners Nigel Pearce and Nathan Bale.
The local firm supply and fit bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms to a high standard and employs eight local people. Adbuild is a qualified member of, and approved by, Trustmark – a government scheme to help householders find reliable, trustworthy tradesmen to work in their homes.
The company’s first showroom, which Mr Rogerson opened in 2005, now displays and sells quality, handcrafted pine furntiure.
Commenting after the opening, Mr Rogerson said:
“It’s great to see a local business thrive. Adbuild has shown commendable resilience in the present economic climate, and it’s testament to their workmanship and commitment to the area that the business has been able to expand.
“I was delighted to open their first showroom when I first elected, and it’s an even greater pleasure to have seen the firm develop over the past four years. I know they are highly regarded in the area, and I wish them well as they continue to serve customers all over Cornwall.”
Brian Rideout, the Owner of Adbuild, added:
“We’re very appreciative of Dan taking time to open our new showroom, and for all the support he gives to local businesses as MP for our area.”
