Dan Rogerson MP for North Cornwall

And then there were five.  Local MP, Dan Rogerson, and wife, Heidi, are celebrating the birth of their daughter, Elowen Ruby Rose Rogerson.

Elowen was born at 10.42am on Wednesday 19th November, weighing 6lb 9oz.

She is the Rogersons’ third child, following big brothers Mawgan (age 3) and Jago (age 1).

Commenting, Mr Rogerson said:

“We’re all over the moon.

“Of course raising three children and managing my work in Parliament makes for a busy existence, but a very fulfilling one.  We’re very lucky to have the support of both our sets of parents, who live near us in Bodmin, where we both grew up.

“I will be taking some time over the next week or two to spend time with Elowen, and the whole family, before I return to Westminster.

“My office is still on hand – as am I, if necessary – to help with any problems people in North Cornwall bring to my attention.”

Heidi Rogerson added:

“The staff at Royal Cornwall Hospital are fantastic.  We would like to thank them for their care and support.”
