Whitstone Post Office
Responding to news that Post Office Ltd have threatened the Postmaster at Whitstone Post Office with a reduced compensation package if he develops his business by installing Paypoint in his shop, North Cornwall's MP, Dan Rogerson said:
“These threats to subpostmasters and mistresses must stop now. They should be allowed to play a full and open part in the discussion about what these services mean to their local communities.
“If Post Office Ltd is turning its back on the community and offering a temporary mobile service, it cannot then seek to operate a retail cartel in the area.”
