Dan Rogerson MP for North Cornwall

North Cornwall’s MP stopped off to visit Ron Moyse, Secretary to the Cornwall Committee of the Normandy Veterans’ Association, this week.

Mr Rogerson, whose late grandfather was a Royal Marine commando and Normandy Veteran, met Mr Moyse to hear about the support and advice the Association provides for its members.

Commenting after the visit, the local MP said:

“It was a pleasure to meet Mr Moyse, and to hear of his own experiences on the battlefield.  We must never forget the sacrifices young men made on our behalf.

“The work the Normandy Veterans’ Association does alongside the Royal British Legion is invaluable.

“The Association provides real support to people who put their lives on the line for our country, and for the way of life we take for granted.”
