MP’s call to action on Foster Hall

North Cornwall’s MP, Dan Rogerson, is encouraging local people to join the Phoenix Friends Scheme, which will support the redevelopment of Foster Hall.

Having grown up in Bodmin, Mr Rogerson is taking a keen interest in the project, which would see the Hall restored to its rightful place as a focal point for the community.

The local Liberal Democrat MP recently met with Bodmin Futures Chairman, Gil Patrick, who leads the Phoenix Friends Scheme.  The two hope to see Foster Hall returned to its former glory as a concert hall and conference centre for the town.

Commenting, Mr Rogerson said:

“Gil Patrick and his team at Bodmin Futures are doing a great job in pushing this project forward.  But they need more local members.

“It’s easy to support the scheme, and it could make a real difference to our local economy, and to the scope we have to bring in cultural events from all over the country.
