Action needed on bunk house disorder
North Cornwall’s MP, Dan Rogerson, this morning (Friday) met with residents of Trebarwith Crescent, Newquay, following complaints about anti-social behaviour from guests at local bunk houses.
The hotels typically attracted older guests and families. These have since been converted into high volume cheap accommodation. They often play host to large groups in stag and hen parties.
Residents have witnessed people urinating in the streets and are frequently woken to the sound of guests returning to their beds in the early hours of the morning.
