Rogersons’ delight at expected arrival

North Cornwall’s MP, Dan Rogerson and his wife, Heidi, have announced that they are expecting a baby. The new addition to their family is due in the Autumn.

Dan and Heidi already have one son, Mawgan, who was born in 2004.

The local MP, who was recently re-selected by local Liberal Democrats as prospective candidate for the North Cornwall seat at the next General Election says he’s delighted at the news.

Commenting, Dan said:

“I am very excited.  It is not easy for the family of an MP, but Heidi and I are very fortunate in having support of our families, both of whom live in Bodmin, where we grew up.

“It’s a real privilege to represent the area in which I was brought up, and I know that standing up for North Cornwall is one of the best things I can do for my own family, as well as for the many friends and neighbours who’ve been so supportive over my first two years as local MP.”

Heidi added:

“We are over the moon.  We know it’s going to be hard work with Dan up in Westminster for part of the week but we are very much looking forward to our new arrival.”
