MP to take on “Double Whammy” threat to Westcountry postal service

North Cornwall’s MP, Dan Rogerson, has called for a meeting with the Chief Executive of the postal services regulator, Postcomm, to discuss Royal Mail proposals which would see rates for delivering business mail to peripheral parts of the country rise. Cornwall’s five-strong team of Liberal Democrat MPs today (Thursday) welcomed a £21.6m funding package to build a wave farm off the coast of Cornwall, which will provide free energy to 7,500 homes.
