Cornwall’s Liberal Democrat MPs today (Wednesday) said they would oppose Royal Mail proposals to "refocus" the one-price-goes-anywhere service which keeps contact with Cornwall at the same price as with the rest of the country. The company hopes to increase stamp prices for residents and small businesses in order to cut charges for large business mail. Air Ambulance hopes for extended cover

Local MPs Julia Goldsworthy and Andrew George have met with representatives of Cornwall Air Ambulance to discuss the possibility of extending the service cover beyond the current ten hour shift.
