Rogerson praises St. Ervan Manor’s award winning breakfasts

Dan Rogerson MP today congratulated local bed and breakfast St Ervan Manor on its recent victory at the Enjoy England Awards 2006.

The B&B won the Bed and Breakfast of the Year at a glittering awards ceremony held at Madame Tussauds in London on 20th April.

Dan Rogerson said:
"St Ervan Manor is to be congratulated on this prestigious award. The Enjoy England Awards are the Oscars of English tourism. This is an example of how Cornish businesses are competing at the highest national level."

"Tourism is vital to the economy of Cornwall, and to have quality recognised in this way is good for the region as a whole."

The fine dining restaurant is headed up by chef Nathan Outlaw and gained a Michelin Star in January this year. It offers seasonal produce from the surrounding area and is situated in the Grade II listed Old Rectory near Padstow.

Awards judge Tom Wright said that St Ervan Manor "redefines the nature of the B&B."
