Rogerson welcomes public enquiry into sewage

The announcement that the Secretary of State has agreed to an enquiry into the discharge of sewage off the north coast of Cornwall at Tintagel and Bossiney was today welcomes by local MP Dan Rogerson.

Mr Rogerson said:

"I met local campaigners from TAIST (Tintagel Against Inferior Sewage Treatment ) last year and offered my support in securing an inquiry. I am delighted that everyone will now have the opportunity to make the case for more appropriate sewage treatment for the north coast of Cornwall."

Once a date and venue for the Inquiry have been identified, all interested parties will be notified by the Planning Inspectorate and invited to attend.
