Post Office success story at last says local MP
Local Liberal Democrat MP Dan Rogerson welcomed the news that the St. Issey Post Office branch will reopen today after 20 months of closure.
Mr Rogerson said: "I'm sure the local community is welcoming this news as much as I do, because for too long have we been faced with the continued closure of so many of our local Post Offices. The closure of Post Offices and other services have decimated community life so it is wonderful to be congratulating a community which is moving in the other direction. Let's just hope that this success story will lead to more."
"It would of course be good to see opening hours extended in the future, but this is a marvellous start."
