MP to visit Padstow flood victims
Dan Rogerson, MP for North Cornwall, is to visit flood victims at Padstow and the surrouding area tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, at 1.30pm. He will be accompanied by local County and District Councillors.
Mr Rogerson will visit homes and business flooded by Wednesday?s downpour to survey the damage and offer support.
Commenting, the North Corrnwall MP said "I will offer any support I can to those affected. We know that Ministers and insurance companies alike have on occasion to be pressed to deliver for flood victims."
"As ever with such incidents, there will be lessons to be learned. Once again, though, the emergency services proved excellent with their quick response."
"I look forward to meeting with constituents in Padstow tomorrow. Meantime, the flooded householders and business owners are in all our thoughts at what must be a devastating time."
