Liberal Democrat PPC visits Fitzgerald Lighting
Dan Rogerson, Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for North Cornwall, along with Paul Tyler MP, this week paid a visit to Bodmin based company Fitzgerald Lighting.
The Fitzgerald Lighting Group is the largest independent lighting manufacturer in Europe and a local business that is still expanding.
Dan spent two weeks with the company at the age of fourteen as part of his work experience, and was keen to go back and see how things had changed:
"It has been a really great experience to come back here. I have very happy memories of the time I spent at Fitzgeralds and it was great to see for myself how the company has expanded, and is going from strength-to-strength. It is so important to recognise how businesses like this represent our county in the international marketplace, whilst maintaining their Cornish roots and employing hundreds of local people"
