Dan Rogerson MP for North Cornwall

In an early Christmas present for Liberal Democrat parliamentary campaigner Dan Rogerson, Newquay Liberal Democrats held control of the Town Council by successfully defending their Edgcumbe South seat.
The new Town Councillor for the ward is Ann Lister. She has built up a popular reputation in the area through her work in the community, particularly with young people.

Dan Rogerson said,
"Ann deserves this victory, she is a true local campaigner and will stand up for what the people of Edgcumbe South want. Her victory means that North Cornwall Liberal Democrats end 2004 in a positive mood, ready to win here in the coming General Election."
